2019-2020 GT-VFS Elections on April 16th

The Vertical Flight Society (VFS -AHS) at Georgia Tech/ Atlanta Chapter is hosting a General Meeting on April 16, 2019 at 11 AM in Guggenheim. 442 to elect new officers for the 2019-2020 school year! 

This announcement also opens the nomination period for candidates.  We are looking to fill the following positions:

  1. President (nominee must have held an officer position before)
  2. Vice President
  3. Secretary
  4. Membership Chair
  5. Undergraduate Liaison/ Outreach Chair.

If you would like to nominate yourself or another VFS member, please fill out this form with a name and position(s).  The same person may run for more than one position.  Please note that all candidates must be members of the Vertical Flight Society (VFS International). You can join online at www.vtol.org and nominate yourself!

Correction: VFF Application Deadline

VFF Applicants: Monday, February 4th at 11AM is the last internal deadline to submit the VFF application to Ms. Christine Powell, Weber 200. Make sure that the recommendation letters are sealed and submitted along with the rest of the packet.Package can also be submitted to Prof. Rogers on Thursday Jan 31st, before 5PM

Packages can also be submitted directly to VFS, as per indicated onvtol.org

Interested in applying for the Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarships? GT-VFS is hosting a VFF application review session Tuesday January 22nd and Thursday January 24th in Guggenheim 244 starting at 11:15am. Come and ask questions and discuss the application. More info at on the VFS website.
