VFS at GT will be hosting Jeremy Bain from Joby Aviation on 10/23 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm in MK 317.
Jeremy is the CFD and aeroacoustics lead for Joby Aviation, with 8+ years at the company. He has experience in rotor, propeller, and wind turbine design, including at a private consulting company prior to joining Joby. He graduated Georgia Tech with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering.
Joby Aviation is a leading eVTOL company aiming to make the future of advanced air mobility a reality. They are developing a 4-passenger aircraft to make local travel more efficient than ground-based options, with a focus on quiet operations. The aircraft has currently flown over 40,000 miles in demonstration flights.
